Om Sri Sai Jeevaaadharaaye Namah Purandhare was a great devotee who worked as a clerk in Bombay. He earned Rs 35 per month and lived in a rented house. The problem faced by people who lived in the rented house of Bombay were inexplicable. Therefore, Baba decided to provide him with a permanent house. Once Purandhare came to SHIRDI for Baba,s darshan. Baba said, Bhau, buy a piece of land in Bandra andconstruct house. So, he remained quiet. Baba told him number of times but he did not make any efforts. Therefore, Baba got angry with him. Even then this poor man could not do anything. Babaoncecalled Bade Baba and said, Go toBhau and ask him whether the one who told you to do this job is a nan or do you assume him to be animal. Bring me an answer from him. Bade Baba went to him and came to know that building a house was beyond his capacity. He told the same to Nana Chandorkar and Kaka Saheb Dixit and asked them to inform Baba and explain the things in detail. These two went to Baba and said,Baba, the work that You have ordered Bhau to do is something beyond his capacity. If You still want it to be done, with Your kind permission, we shall provide a house for him. . Baba' said, No, No. there is no need for anyone to give him any financial support. There is an abundance of money for Ram Bhau in my treasury. Only, I am capable of giving him. KRIPASAGAR SAI Unable to bear Babas repeated orders to buy a plot, Purandhare went to Bandra, which was a short distance from Bombay, hearing that lands were sold at cheaper rates there. He asked one of his friends for money. That friend lovingly gave him as much as he wanted without writing a note and without interest. He bought the land and went to SHIRDI. That was the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. There were huge crowds, up to distance of three furlongs. People stood waiting for Baba,s darshan. Purandhare was assigned with the duty of forming the crowd in queue. He and his friend were unable to control the crowd. Suddenly Babas love turned into anger and Baba roared, Oh foolish one You never give me peace of mind you are allowing the crowds to rush in. See what I will do to you, I will bury you with my own hands at my Feet in this Masjid. Purandhare remained unperturbed He delthappy thinking that Baba,s abuses are blessings in disguise. In the form of fury Baba had showered His LOVE to Purandhare. After a few days Purandhare got severe headache. BadeBaba went to Baba and requested Him to give medicine for Purandhare Dearest. Baba remained silent and just turned His Face away. Purandhare realized that Baba would not be pleased unless he fulfills the order of Baba and for that he went to Bombay. In his office, the boss began to give loans to all the clerks for them to construct houses. He took Rs. 500/ and had the house constructed. After the Grihpravesh and pooka he happily went to SHIRDI. Thefery second his headache disappeared. Baba called Purandhare bear and said, Aye Bhau Do not be afraid that your house is on the outskirts of the city. I will protect your house, your young wife, and your everything. I will always be guarding your house. Do not be afraid. Baba gave him His assurance and blessed him. As his leave was getting over, he sought Babas permission to return to Bombay. Baba did not give His consent. He made Purandhare stay few more days longer and then permitted him to leave. When he went to his office, the boss was furious and asked explanation for the delay. Purandhare being an irascible person did not care for the boss. He gave his resignation letter saying, I need not give you explanation. Here is the resignation letter. I am leaving the job. His boss was surprised at this. This matter went to Mr Wilson, their manager. He summoned both Purandhare and his boss. He knew the relationship between Baba and Purandhare and their bond of devotion. Therefore, he told the boss, Mister, this Purandhare is neither. Your dependent nor your servant. Do not behave as you like with him. He tore away the resignation letter and appointed him as head clerk. With this Purandhares salary increased. With this increased salary, His life took turn. He cleared all his debts and became free of all the financial burdens. He felt happy that it was al. babas Leela. The inner significance behind Babas Lelas is intangible. Personal Comment This is a example of how Baba takes care of His children in the material world. But He is Jeevas adhaar in spiritual. World is most significant. He fulfills His devotee with bioth. A lot of blood oozed out of it. The next day the Doctor examined it and said that operation was not necessary and that it would heal very soon. Within a few days it healed completely. Later when he went to SHIRDI, Baba, out of immense love, called him near. He showed him to others present and said, This fellow had a sore on the hip, instead of praying to me he wanted to get operated. But will I allow it to happen. I myself performed operation of my child and rescued him. Listening to these words, Nanasaheb was wonderstruck by Baba,s love. His eyes dropped tears and he prostrated at his Holy Feet. Baba lifted him up and questioned lovingly,Nana, though the child does it tell its problems to the Father, will the Father be indifferent to the child Nana was enchanted at Babas all encompassing LOVE. ........................... Once Kaka Saheb developedhigh fever and was not in a condition to go for Babas darshan. He sent a message toBaba. Listening to it Baba said, Is that all Why fear about it Why fear when I am here Tell him to go to his house. Let me see which disease is going to harm him. Some devotees questioned him ,How can he go to his house in this condition Baba Then Baba ordered,Whatever it may be, He should not stay in SHIRDI. Immediately send him to his hometown. As Babas orderer had to feel obeyed some people went and reported to Kaka Saheb. He agreed to follow Babas advice and help of few people he managed to reach the Masjid. On seeing him, Baba says, Child, go home. Do not be afraid. What is going home is not you but your fever. Within few days your fever will subside. Have faith in my words. Do not sleep on a cot like a diseased person. Move about here there. Drink pudding made out of Badam and Pistachio. Your fever will vanish. Do not bother about what others say. No danger can approach you when I am with you. Baba gave him Udi Prasad and sent Shyama to accompany him. He went home, had pudding made and consumed it. The fever increased. Relatives advised him, Disease will not cure with Udi and useless words. Use medicine. They brought a doctor and have him examined. The doctor prescribed medicines and advised him to rest instead of being active. Kakaji didi not agree to this and said firmly, Baba told me to move about and not sleep. So I will move about. And I will not use these medicines. The doctor said that he could do nothing about it and went away. Relatives abused him saying that he was inviting (Censored) believing the words of mad Fakir. He was not bothered about them. As told by the fever completely vanished. He immediately went back to SHIRDI. Baba saw him and bantered smilingly, What did your people atBombay say. Kaka fell at abas Holy Feet happily and said, What can I report to You, who is Omniscient. "......................................
