C. B. Satpathy
is an ardent devotee of Sri Sai Baba, who calls himself a servant
of Baba and worships no other God than Baba. His love for all is
as unbounded and infinite as Sai love. When people ask him as to
who brought such a tremendous transformation in his life, he, without
any hesitation or mincing a word, would immediately say that it
is Shirdi Sai Baba who is his life's guiding light and that he has
no other Guru except Shri Sai and that he has surrendered at the
sacred feet of Shri Sai.
Satpathyji
basically comes from a family of educationalists and administrators
with a high level of cultural and religious involvement. He holds
multilpe masters degrees and for some years taught in Delhi University
before joining All India Services where he excelled and was awarded
three recognitions by the President of India for gallantry, meritorious
service and distinguished service. Having retired as Director General
of Police, he is currently working as advisor to an Indian corporation.
He is an ideal Grihastha (house-holder). While shouldering domestic
responsibilities as a husband, father, son, brother with affection
and concern, he attends to the duties of his calling with dedication
and devotion. As a house-holder, he has set an example in the art
of living-of blending harmoniously the secular facets of life. He
is additionally involved in social, educational and health related
activities through his association with several NGOs like Sukariya.
The number of people, who have come in contact with him over the
last two decades to find solutions to their materialistic, psychological,
commercial & health issues or active spiritiual evolution runs
not in thousands but in lakhs. Shri Satpathyji not only helps the
needy one's invoking the name of Shri Sai but also by living as
a family man, sets an example in front of Sai devotees and other
people at large that ONE CAN LIVE IN THIS MATERIALISTIC WORLD OF
MONEY, RELATIONS & LINKED DUTIES AND STILL BE PIOUS AND BE A
DETACHED 'SAINT' AT HEART. No wonder, he always guides Sai devotees
to look towards Shri Sai Baba as their 'FATHER, BROTHER AND LOVED
ONE'. Then only we would be able to REALISE SAI AND UNDERSTAND SAI
AS GOD, with great ease.
A host of trusts and societies set up in India and abroad under
the inspiration of Sri Satpathyji, are not content with raising
Sai Temples, but are engaged in rendering services like medical,
educational etc., helpful to the society. As a part of the Sai movement
initiated by him, journals and magazines entitled Sai Chetan, Sai
Arpan, Sai Chintan, Sai Darshan, Sai Krupa, Sai Lehari, Sai Kiranalu,

Oriya, Telugu, Marathi and other languages of India, to spread Sai
movement of love and service.
